Meet Our Team Member: Alyssa Cassandro

Growing up, my family was a bit unconventional in that my father was our primary caregiver and my mother was the sole provider of our family of four. My parents constantly encouraged me to chase my dreams and take advantage of opportunities that came my way. What they may not have realized at the time is that my mother’s example of a successful 40-year career in the financial industry as a client service associate and assistant to financial advisors is what impacted me the most. Her dedication to her work and clients showed me the value of helping people manage their finances and work toward their goals; this precedent helped me set a career path for myself.
Building a Career
After graduating from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, I joined Ahmie’s team as senior associate of client services. As I assist our future-driven opportunity provider clients with their account questions and transactions, I get to hear their stories, see them grow, and celebrate their victories. It’s been a highlight of my job to witness our clients use the financial freedom they’ve unlocked while working with us to build and create inspiring organizations and solidify opportunities for themselves and their families. I’m thankful I get to be part of this behind-the-scenes process.
Team Focus
Interchange’s team is second to none. Everyone comes from a different background and brings something unique to the table, and the resulting combined insight and expertise set our firm apart and make all the difference for our client family. Most people have preconceived notions that the financial industry is full of stockbrokers running around, worrying about their commissions and papers flying everywhere. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
Here’s an example: Ahmie has a picture on the wall in his office called The Stock Broker. (1) It’s a colorful, illustrative piece that depicts a man with his jacket open, showing a bright red heart on his chest. It’s a perfect visual for our team and how our hearts and our souls are in our work and for our clients. I will forever appreciate the opportunity to work in an environment where I can not only give back to our clients, but also learn from those around me.

About Alyssa
Alyssa Cassandro is the senior associate of client service at Interchange Capital Partners. Alyssa joined The Baum Consulting Group at UBS in April 2019 as a client service associate. She is an integral part of the Service Group and is available to assist clients with account-related questions and transactions. Her previous positions in communications have prepared her for this interactive role.
Alyssa graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2018, with a degree in fine arts. Her favorite pastime is art and she has received several awards for her work.
