Meet Interchange’s Newest Team Member: Theo Mylonas

Interchange Capital Partners continually seeks to bring experienced individuals with diverse experience and abilities to our team. To that end, we’ve recently welcomed Theo Mylonas as the latest addition to the Interchange family.

Theo brings a wealth of comprehensive experience in client relations, sales, and digital content production. Interchange is excited to introduce Theo to our peers and clients and share more about his background and the assets he brings to Interchange. 

Theo Mylonas’ Background

Theo got his start in sales in 2011 and in digital media production in 2012. He has worked with major global tech and commercial corporations, including Microsoft, Hasbro, Dolby Laboratories, Post Cereals, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. 

Before joining the Interchange team, Theo developed and sold both hardware and software to the entire range of commercial clients: consumers, entrepreneurs, and large enterprises. During this time, he was also trusted with implementing SOPs globally for specific product launches. 

Theo brings many skills and strengths to Interchange’s service team, as evidenced by several Telly Awards he has won for producing commercial content. The Telly Awards honor outstanding video and television production in local, regional, and cable platforms.

Theo says he takes great pride in his team-player mentality and advanced organizational abilities. He also boasts 10 years of experience in building and maintaining excellent client relations.

Theo’s strong and varied industry connections speak to his ability to build rapport with multiple and diverse audiences. The financial advisory industry vies to serve businesses of all sizes. Theo’s impressive breadth of knowledge and ability to adjust his skills to serve different professional clients are what drove Interchange to bring him on as a full-time team member.

“I excel in exceeding company, customer, and personal goals,” Theo shares. “My strengths lie in building strong client relationships, effective communication, and applying creativity from my digital media background to provide innovative solutions.”

Theo’s Role With Interchange

To start his tenure with Interchange Capital Partners, Theo will assist the company in client services functions, which typically include onboarding new clients, handling their inquiries and concerns, providing educational materials, and assisting with client account transactions.

Theo will also be working closely with Interchange president Brian Baum on executive logistics and coordination including managing executive calendars, enhancing communication channels, organizing presentation materials, planning events, and working on special executive projects.

“I haven’t been able to dig too deep yet since I’ve only been on a few days,” Theo explains, “but in all of my previous jobs, my favorite aspect has been getting to collaborate with diverse teams and, especially, getting to know and assisting the vastly different clientele.” 

Theo’s Life Outside the Office

Theo and his girlfriend are the owners of three dogs that are, in his words, “comedically different sizes”: a miniature Australian shepherd, a Rottweiler-Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and a pitbull-terrier mix. The couple enjoys antiquing and horseback riding. Theo also rides a vintage 1983 Suzuki motorcycle and enjoys going on boating excursions with family and friends during the spring and summer.

For entertainment, Theo says he’s a big movie fan with a particular affinity for over-the-top 2000s action, heist, and treasure-hunt movies.

When he’s not working, Ahmie enjoys spending time with his wife, Sara, along with their three children and their granddaughters. He recognizes that health is wealth so he has committed to daily yoga, meditation and plant-based eating. His other hobbies include woodturning, golf, reading, listening to music and biking. He is active in his community and served as the Foundation Chair of the Jewish Federation Community Foundation of Greater Pittsburgh and supports various philanthropic endeavors.
