We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of the latest addition to our talented team at Interchange Capital Partners! Jeremy Glazier brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the table, and we know he’ll be a valuable asset in helping our clients confidently pursue their financial goals.

In this article, you’ll get to know a bit more about Jeremy, including his background, proficiency, some exciting things he’s looking forward to in his new role, and his interests outside of the office.

So, let’s give a warm welcome to Jeremy Glazier!

Jeremy Glazier’s Background

Jeremy W. Glazier is a seasoned senior management professional with over 15 years of experience across the fields of finance, consulting, and law. In addition to his start-up and private wealth management experience, Jeremy has worked as a consultant and attorney with some of the world’s leading investment banks and asset managers. In these roles, Jeremy advised clients including Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Blackstone, KKR, and the Carlyle Group.

Before his current role, Jeremy served as Chief of Staff with a London-based start-up, where he worked with senior executives to manage strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation. As an attorney, Jeremy worked with leading firms, including Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett, and Perkins Coie, representing private equity clients in international and domestic mergers and acquisitions and general legal matters, contributing to deals totaling over $5 billion.  Earlier in his career, Jeremy worked in consulting with KPMG and Navigant Consulting, managing a variety of engagements on a global scale.

During his graduate studies, Jeremy worked as a Summer Associate in Citi’s Investment Banking Division and at Grosvenor Capital Management.

Jeremy holds a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and an MBA, with honors, from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with distinction from the University of Toronto. He is admitted to the Bar in Illinois and the District of Columbia.

Jeremy’s Role With Interchange

Jeremy’s role at Interchange is Chief of Staff to Interchange’s president, Brian Baum. In this position, Jeremy helps scale the firm while acting as a force multiplier for Brian. They will collaborate to make substantial improvements in productivity and impact.

Essentially, Jeremy’s job can be broken down into the following five roles:

  • “Air traffic controller” for Brian

  • Merger of work streams that would otherwise remain siloed

  • Communicator linking Brian and the broader organization

  • Honest broker when Brian needs a wide-ranging view without turf considerations

  • Confidant without an organizational agenda

As Chief of Staff, he’ll work across the organization and manage client-facing responsibilities.  To date, he’s been involved with initial prospecting meetings, business consulting, financial and estate planning, and investment meetings.

Jeremy’s Favorite Part of His Job

Jeremy’s favorite thing about his job so far is that no two days are the same. His tasks are varied, and he feels constantly challenged. Additionally, Brian has already trusted Jeremy to lead high-level organizational initiatives, allowing him to utilize his full range of skills and experience to drive those programs forward.

Jeremy’s Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Jeremy is an avid reader, world traveler, hockey player, and non-profit volunteer. He’s also a proud uncle to a niece and nephew who are currently in elementary school, and who look to him as a tutor, mentor, sports coach, and friend to play with.

We’re Proud to Add Stars Like Jeremy to Our Team

Interchange Capital Partners’ mission is to assemble a dynamic, informed team with individuals with a range of skills, experience, and perspectives. We’re confident that Jeremy Glazier’s background and knowledge fit well with Interchange’s styles and strategies. We look forward to his work building strong client and company relations.
